We
started the day with playing with legos. Old legos. That was fun for a long
time. I built a special edition Sterling Boeing 727 that my grandpa just had.
We also built trains. Then my parents left, and I was home with my brothers and
my step-grandma. We then played a bunch of Danish games. One had a bunch of
matches, and we rolled dice to do stuff with the matches. Another game had a
bunch of cards. We played with them. If you made a mistake in that game, you
were called the Donkey. Thus, the name was called Donkey. Best game ever...
Then when my parents came home we (as in my brothers and parents, and me)
went on a walk. We went into the forest, were you can find mounds built out of
stones. These mounds are hollow graves (long since rotted away). These
are close to maybe 1200 years old? Something crazy old for new America :P.
Also, In the forest, there was a rope swing, but why swing on the rope if you
can climb, so my dad and I climbed all the way to the tree branch it hang one.
It was hard, especially because I'd never climbed a rope before. When we ate
brunch we heard a funny saying. It says something about how it is hard to use a
fork when it is not there. Funny thing is that the Danish word for happen
sounds a lot like the Danish word for spoon, and likewise for the word Danish
word hard which sounds like knife. I you say it right, you can hear spoon,
knife, fork. Punny!!!!
