Today was
awesome. My aunt served us breakfast, and then took us out to an old strip of train
tracks. This strip of tracks was not changed, but the thing riding on it had
changed. We got train-ish bikes, and rode for 14+ kilometers on them. They were
special bikes. They had a bike with a sidecar, so no balance was needed. The
wheels were very wide, so they fit over the tracks. The breaks weren't on the
handles; rather I had to step on them near the pedals. There were no gears, but
they weren't needed anyways. (Denmark is flat, despite the 157 feet a ran up in
a single minute yesterday during my 4 mile progression run...) It was outside
(of course) thus we were subject to Danish weather. It rained pretty much all
day, and I LOVED IT. I could pull two people on this special bike. I
ended up pulling my mom for almost 7 kilometers. There I stopped and had lunch.
This was the best lunch I've ever eaten. It wasn't amazing because I was
hungry, but because the food was legit good! Then I rode back alternating with
pulling my aunt, mom and cousins. Then we drove home and stopped by two
church's, but both were locked. I hate when church’s are locked. I really
wanted to see it, because it is so old. (look up Ribe domkirke, or Odense
domkrike or Roskilde domkirke or Aarhus domkirke.) In all today was rather
uneventful, because we didn't do too much. But I still thought it was a great
day. Biking on train tracks in the rain, is super fun. You will have to do it
at some point; you can come with me, because I know I will do that again. SO
MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
